The Rabbitshire offers pedigreed pure TAMUK Composite rabbits. Most of our breeders' grandparents/parents are original from Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
In 2023 we flew to Texas and bought our breeders from Michael Vieira, who acquired his herd from Texas A&M Kingsville when they retired the TAMUK Rabbit project. TAMUK rabbits are a composite breed, developed using genetic contributions from seven different rabbit breeds that took 30 years development. They are heat tolerant, a fast-growing meat breed, with excellent meat to bone ratio, come in a variety of colors and have a wonderful temperament.
A loving rabbitry located in Central Florida. We raise healthy friendly pure New Zealand whites & the original white TAMUKS from Texas A&M University.
