Side hobby on our farm. We breed for meat, pet and show.
FarmCare LLC Rabbitry houses New Zealand meat rabbit. A popular breed known for their fast growth, large size, and excellent meat quality. These rabbits are typically white with red eyes, though other color variations exist. They are prized for their efficient feed-to-meat conversion, making them ideal for meat production. With a calm temperament and strong reproductive abilities, New Zealand rabbits are often used in commercial rabbitries for sustainable meat farming. The breed produces tender, lean meat, which is high in protein and low in fat, catering to a growing demand for healthy, alternative protein sources.
I raise New Zealand rabbits for pets or for meat.
We raise a small variety of rabbits including French Lops, Satin and German Angoras, Dutch, and meat mutts. We plan to eventually add Crème d’Argents in the future as well to help preserve and further the breed as they are currently listed as “threatened” by the Livestock Conservancy.
We raise Champagne d’Argent rabbits for good weight, fast grow out, and great temperaments.
