We are a husband and wife team running our homestead and raising Champagne d'Argent crossed with Crème d’Argent, and New Zealand meat mutts. Both are great for meat, but also pets as they are handled and loved a lot here! We are focusing on crossing breeds to have a great meat program. We are located in Lenawee County, Michigan. You can also find us on The Bateson Homestead on Facebook and Instagram. Breeding season starts this week (3/11/24) So we will still have a couple months till we have rabbits ready.
Big beautiful rabbits with amazingly friendly dispositions!
We breed purebred white New Zealand and mixed breed Mini Rex rabbits for desirable colors and beautiful coats, and are constantly adding more! We have meat and pet rabbits. All of our rabbits are friendly, with great temperaments, as handled by my young kids!
I raise Pedigree Californians, Pedigree American Chinchilla and Flemish/Harlequin rabbits. Pedigree New Zealand coming soon. The little ones are handled a lot and are very friendly.
We sell meat rabbits, including raw feeding (for dogs) and we have frozen bundles available.
Live rabbits are sold for breeding pairs/trios and 4-H type events. We have unrelated breeding pairs of Tamuks Composites and Blue New Zealand rabbits. We do not sell pets.
We also sell fertilizer pellets and rabbit urine. Easily the best livestock manure of all.
